Woods Crampton, established in 2006 by brothers Peter and Rob Woods, has become a fixture of the Barossa. Aroma : A deep and seductive nose, offering a glimpse of the classic violet / five spice perfumed lift of cooler climate Shiraz
Taste : supple and layered but remains medium to full in body. Vital, dark berry, boysenberry and spice matched to silky tannins and very subtle oak before a long and bright finish. The tannins are wonderfully integrated and impressively smooth

 How to Enjoy : It is described as a perfect match for slow-cooked lamb or rich mushroom dishes. Other suggestions include rich red meats like beef and venison, grilled or barbecued pork, and aged cheeses.
