Moutai is a traditional Chinese specialty liquor produced in Maotai Town, Guizhou Province, China. It is one of the world's three most famous distilled liquors, along with Scotch whisky and French Cognac. It is also one of China's three most famous liquors, the "Mao, Wu, Jian" (Maotai, Wu, Jian) and the originator of the Daqu (Maotai-flavor) baijiu (white liquor), with a history of over 800 years.
